notes from trailmix 3-18-07:
Project WBOTB
these shns were SBE fixed (by set), decoded to wav, and encoded to flac16 (level 6). the process was repeated, resulting in identical .wavs.
although the original shns were created in late 2001, they've not circulated and they aren't listed in the database.
major thanks to the WBOTB crew for putting this together. especially Tim, who got me the discs so i could tidy them up for mass consumption.

Solid show. I appreciate the '73 sound and the band was really rocking and rolling. I am not into rating shows that much. I either like them or not. I
...

Have to disagree: if you want one of the greatest, you need look no furthur than both of the very next shows at RFK (June 9-10). The second set here is
...
OK but really nothing special, and Jerry's playing is extremely lazy & lackluster from Half-Step through Truckin and even into the beginning of He's Gone, at which point he suddenly gets a jolt and starts playing like a god again. Erase the entire second set & you've got a five-star show.
